Reservations
The museum is open for free admission. Individuals or groups are required to complete online reservation prior visit to keep the quality of visiting. 
All the opening hours of next month can be reserved on the first day of each month (eg, a reservation for November may be done starting on October 1st), reservations are available 24 hours daily, and is not accepted on the day shown.

Opening Hours
The museum is open from 10:00 to 17:00, restrained from visiting between 12:00 and 13:30 and after 16:00. Closed on Mondays, and on the first, third and fifth Saturday of every month. An announcement will be made if the museum is closed for special reasons.
The museum will remain open if a typhoon occurs unless announced by Tainan County Government that all businesses will be closed on that day. All special activities scheduled will then be cancelled.

Guided Tours
Demonstrations for mechanical musical instruments are available for certain hours when the museum is open. Guided tours (in Chinese) are available on weekends. Please refer to the exact time announced on that day.
Audio Tour Guide service is provided for rent (NT$100 / Player) in three languages: Chinese, English, Japanese.

Attention
1. Eating or drinking, smoking, chewing betel nut or chewing gum is prohibited inside the museum. Visitors are asked not to bring alcohol into the Museum.
2. Visitors who are improperly dressed (including wearing flip-flops or sandals) or those who  bring pets or dangerous goods will be refused to enter the museum.
3. Photography, film recording and sound recording are not allowed inside the museum, and please keep umbrellas and large items in the briefing room.
4. To preserve the collections, air-conditioning in the exhibition space is lower than room temperature; please bring warm clothes if needed.
5. Please keep voices down, and switch off mobile phones while inside the museum. Groups are prohibited to use amplifiers. Please follow all museum regulations. Thank you for your cooperation.
